At the OBEO Nevers residence, we love giving our residents experiences that are a little out of the ordinary. On Tuesday 2 March, we opened our doors to Maison Thiriet for an event quite unlike any other, centred on discovery and good company.

A local company in the spotlight

That Tuesday afternoon, the residence lobby was transformed into a proper market space. We had the pleasure of welcoming representatives from Maison Thiriet, a local company known for its expertise.

On the programme for this flavourful get-together:

  • A presentation of the products by passionate professionals, who shared their love of the trade and the quality of what they make.

  • A journey through the history of this well-known name, allowing our residents to rediscover it from a fresh angle.

  • The chance to do a little shopping, whether for a treat or to prepare some tasty dishes.

Smiles and conversation

What matters to us is seeing the smiles and the buzz around these stands. Far more than a simple product demonstration, the event was a wonderful excuse to meet and talk. Conversations flowed between residents, the residence teams and the Maison Thiriet representatives.

These (delicious!) exchanges are essential to everyone’s well-being. They create connection, break the routine and bring a real dose of good cheer to the residence.
