The South of France, a favourite region for seniors?

A recent study by Holidu shows that four towns in the Var and Alpes-Maritimes departments feature in the Top 20 “oldest” towns in France.

A few striking figures:

  • Le Cannet is not far behind, with 27.6% of seniors.

  • Saint-Raphaël comes first, with 41.3% of its population aged 65 or over.

  • Fréjus takes 7th place, with 28.6% of its residents over 65.

These towns offer an ideal living environment for retirees: a sunny climate, beautiful landscapes and well-adapted infrastructure.
