Celebrating friendship and the good things in life: our Beaujolais lunch in Montreuil

Some traditions carry the scent of autumn, of good company and the joy of coming together. Here at our Montreuil residence, the Beaujolais lunch is unquestionably one of them. More than a simple meal, it is an eagerly awaited annual occasion, a moment of pure sharing where laughter echoes and hearts are warmed.

On Thursday 20 November 2025, our dining room was dressed in the colours of the season with our finest table settings: red tablecloths and soft lighting reminiscent of the late harvest.

The atmosphere was already buzzing, full of that gentle excitement that comes before a great feast.

A Feast for the Senses

On this year’s menu, a selection carefully orchestrated by the residence’s head chef to awaken the taste buds and celebrate the produce of our region. And of course, the highlight of the celebration: the Beaujolais Nouveau flowed freely! Young, fruity and easy-drinking, it was the perfect ambassador for the occasion, setting glasses clinking and eyes sparkling.

Far more than a meal, a moment from the heart

But what gives this lunch its true flavour, far beyond the food and the wine, is the extraordinary collective energy. Around the tables, conversation flowed, memories were shared, and fits of laughter spread like wildfire.

Watching our residents swap stories, that is where the real richness of our residence lies. These moments of lightness and companionship are the mortar of our big family.

It was a lunch where time seemed to stand still, where all you could see were happy faces, lifted by the simple joy of being together.

Enormous thanks to our whole team, in the kitchen and front of house, for the dedication and hard work that made this magic possible. And above all, endless thanks to you, our dear residents, for your infectious good humour and for making the Montreuil residence such a wonderful place to live.

The bottle is empty, but the memories are full to the brim. And we are already looking forward to raising our glasses again next year!
