As the end of the year approaches, the Obeo Aix-les-Bains residence is alive with laughter, sharing and creativity. Our motto? Not a day without an activity or an event to brighten our residents’ daily lives and create precious memories together. Here is a look back at a particularly lively and generous start to December.
1. Christmas magic arrives at the residence: decorating the tree!
The festive spirit swept through the Obeo Aix-les-Bains residence with the traditional decorating of the Christmas trees. It was a friendly moment in which everyone added their personal touch, dressing the trees with sparkling lights, colourful baubles and garlands. The party atmosphere was already there, bringing a gentle magic to the entrance of the residence.
2. Festive creations with Samanta
Our activities coordinator Samanta ran Christmas craft workshops to awaken everyone’s creativity. Advent wreaths, personalised decorations, greeting cards… These moments of focus and relaxation allowed everyone to make unique items, full of Christmas spirit and the pride of a job well done.
3. A heart this big: Téléthon workshop with Chrys and the children
The residence had the joy and the honour of welcoming Chrys and the children from the local activity centre for a special workshop as part of the Téléthon (French charity telethon). This afternoon of intergenerational sharing was a real breath of happiness and solidarity. Together, residents and children created, chatted and showed that generosity and enthusiasm have no age. A touching moment that filled every heart with warmth.
4. The charm of Christmas pom-poms with Émilie and Samanta
Continuing the craft activities, Émilie and Samanta guided our residents through a Christmas pom-pom workshop. From their hands came woollen Christmas trees, snowmen and reindeer, adding a touch of charm and poetry to the residence’s decorations. The simplicity of the craft and the beauty of the results won everyone over.
5. Happy hour: cocktail workshop with Hugo
And to round off the month in style, it was time for a treat and good company with a cocktail workshop hosted by Hugo! The art of mixology now holds no secrets for our residents, who particularly enjoyed tasting a delicious Espresso Martini. This bold cocktail, combining coffee and vodka, delighted the taste buds and created a chic, cheerful atmosphere. Conversation, laughter and preparation tips made this workshop a real success.

At the Obeo Aix-les-Bains residence, the start of December was far more than a page on the calendar. It was a series of moments of sharing, creating and giving. Every workshop, every encounter has strengthened the bonds between us and reflected our commitment to offering our residents a rich and fulfilling life.
