A spooky, friendly feast: Halloween at Résidence du Parc in Nevers!

Autumn is here, the leaves are turning golden and a mysterious air is drifting through the corridors of Résidence du Parc in Nevers. This was no ordinary day: today we celebrated Halloween with contagious energy and joy!

A magical, cheerful atmosphere

From the morning onwards, the residence was dressed in its finest decorations. Pumpkins, cobwebs and bats created the perfect setting for the occasion. But the real show was the arrival of our activity coordinators, in costume for the day and determined to work a little magic.

A fearless Viking, ready to conquer hearts; a mischievous witch, handing out laughter rather than spells; and a mysterious voodoo sorcerer, whose powers turned out to be nothing but good cheer. Their arrival set the mood at once, drawing smiles and bursts of laughter from our residents.

No Halloween feast would be complete without a delicious meal, and our talented cook rose to the challenge once again. Residents enjoyed a wonderful meal prepared especially for the occasion. Every dish was a real treat, combining flavour and quality, proving that celebration also happens on the plate.

Good company and music all round

Beyond the costumes and the decorations, it was the community spirit that shone brightest. Around the tables, conversation flowed freely, punctuated by music and moments of genuine warmth. It was a lovely chance to share memories, make new connections and simply enjoy good time together.

This special day showed once again that Résidence du Parc is far more than a place to live: it is a genuine community, where good spirits and social connection are at the heart of everything we do.

Thank you to our residents for their zest for life, to our activity coordinators for their boundless creativity, and to our cook for the talent that delights us every day.
