Every year, on the first Sunday in March, France celebrates the people who are so often the gentle, reassuring pillar of the family: grandmothers. Now a firmly established tradition, this special day is a chance to say “thank you” and to honour the precious role they play.
At the OBEO Nevers residence, we are committed to keeping that spirit of family and sharing alive. So we made a point of marking Grandmothers’ Day with particular care, to pay tribute to our residents and brighten their day.
A tender gesture for our beloved grandmothers
On this day dedicated to them, the residence management wanted to prepare a lovely surprise. Every grandmother in the residence had the pleasure of receiving a small gift, offered with great affection by the team.
Beyond the gift itself, what really mattered was the moment of conversation and closeness that came with it. Seeing their eyes light up and their smiles widen as they received this attention was a genuine joy for the whole team.
Celebrating connection and passing things on
This celebration exists to remind us of everything grandmothers bring: their boundless tenderness, their experience, and the family memory they pass down from one generation to the next. In Nevers, we are proud to contribute to their well-being and to surround them with affection all year round.
