This Saturday 4 October, Uzès came alive for France’s National Caregivers’ Day.
This year’s theme, “Caring for equality”, was a reminder of how important it is to recognise and support those who care day after day for a loved one who has lost their independence.

At the heart of the event: a colourful, musical parade, a symbol of joy and solidarity. The aim? To shine a light on the essential yet often invisible role of caregivers, and to offer them a moment of respite and good company.
OBEO Résidences [ Senior services residences ] was proud to take part and present our senior residence with services in Uzès. It was a valuable opportunity to talk with caregivers, understand the realities they face, and introduce them to a living environment designed to combine independence, peace of mind and well-being for their loved ones.
Because caring for caregivers also means caring for the people they support.
