A gourmet moment with chocolatier Maison LARNICOL at the OBEO Aix-les-Bains residence

Last week, a gentle buzz of excitement filled our residence. We had the great honour of welcoming Nicolas, master chocolatier from the celebrated Maison LARNICOL, for an exclusive tasting that delighted the taste buds and the hearts of our residents.

At OBEO Residences Chambéry, we believe that wellbeing also comes from life’s simple pleasures and sensory experiences. And what better way to brighten a day than discovering delicious chocolates created by one of the region’s finest artisans?

Nicolas brought with him a selection of his most refined creations: melt-in-the-mouth ganaches with subtle flavours, crunchy pralines, and his famous Breton “Kouignettes”, which whisked our gathering away to the coast of Brittany. Every chocolate told a story, an adventure, and Nicolas took the time to share each one with real passion.

The tasting itself was pure delight. Eyes sparkling with curiosity, our residents tasted, commented and shared their impressions in a warm and friendly atmosphere. Bursts of laughter and little cries of pleasure punctuated the afternoon, and it was easy to spot the sweet tooths among us!

This event was far more than a simple tasting. It was a special moment of sharing, discovery and connection. It gave our residents the chance to escape for an afternoon, awaken their senses and create new gourmet memories together.

Our warmest thanks go to Nicolas and Maison LARNICOL for their generosity and talent, which made this moment so magical. A huge thank you as well to our residents for taking part and for their infectious joy.

These encounters and sensory workshops sit at the heart of our philosophy: a life in residence that is rich, lively and full of flavour, where every day brings its share of small pleasures and lovely company.
