An exceptional occasion

On this radiant day, the OBEO Le Cannet residence had the immense joy and the deep honour of celebrating a rare and precious event: the 100th birthday of Madame Jeanne Mouette. A day marked by emotion, gentleness and remembrance, one that lit up our home and touched the hearts of every resident and every member of staff.

One life, one century, one story

Born in 1926, Jeanne has lived through a century of history. She has watched the world change, fashions come and go, and she has met both the great upheavals and the small joys of her time with courage and grace. Her face, marked by a kind serenity, tells a thousand stories all on its own. On her birthday, she shared some of her dearest memories with us: her childhood, the passions of her younger years, and that quiet wisdom that belongs only to those who have observed much and lived much.

A warm celebration

To mark this symbolic milestone, the residence team and Madame Jeanne’s family organised a celebration worthy of the occasion. The dining room was decorated with balloons. A delicious birthday cake, topped with the number “100”, was cut and shared amid great joy. Songs from her era filled the room, bringing tears to some eyes and nostalgic smiles to others.

A message of hope and gratitude

Beyond the party itself, this day reminds us how important it is to celebrate every life, to honour our elders and to keep our shared memory alive. At the Le Cannet residence, we are proud to offer a warm and respectful living environment where every resident, whatever their age, can go on writing their own story.

Madame Jeanne Mouette’s 100th birthday will stay with us as a moment of grace and togetherness. This celebration was a beautiful reminder that the passing of time is not only a countdown, but also a form of wealth: the wealth of memories, of life lessons and of the bonds woven over the decades.

The whole team at the Le Cannet residence sends its warmest congratulations to Madame Jeanne Mouette, with all the affection and respect she deserves.

Happy birthday, dear Jeanne, and thank you for the light you bring us.
